Action Packed Friday: Marauders

Genre: Action and Adventure, Thriller, Crime

Storyline: A chain of banks belonging to a millionaire are robbed professionally and the FBI are working overtime to figure out who is behind it all.

Review: I thought it was amazing. It started off stealthy and action packed. The bank robbers have these scary masks on and they move all fluid-like and synchronized. The first bank robbery scene is by far the best one because they seem almost inhuman. What I like about this movie though is, it is not just about bank robberies. The bank robberies happen as a result of a cover up involving an Army Ranger unit in the past. It is a movie with many twists, just when you think you understand, you really don't. Bruce Willis and Christopher Meloni face-off as you try to figure out what's right, what's wrong, and what's moral.

There is also a side story in this movie that I think is pretty irrelevant. There is a dirty cop who acts tough but has a secret that's making him what to come clean about the things that he has done. In my opinion the movie would have been good, if not better without that storyline. Aside from that there were no other side storylines. I personally do not like movies like this where there is a love interest or when kids get kidnapped. This movie had one real focal point and that's what made it good.

This is a movie where you need to pay attention to understand, so if there is a lot of talking in your house while you are watching this, make sure you have your finger over the rewind button.

Rating: I would eat popcorn with salt and butter it was attention grabbing and really good. But that side story wasn't that great.
